In Early Years, February and March have been months full of fun and literature as the young children enjoyed a wonderful Carnival party at Sibeliova and celebrated reading at Prague 5 Nessie with a special Book day with a range of activities based around books.
Book Day Fun
In Pre-Nursery, we celebrated World book day over the whole week and did many book-related activities like making book- marks for our books. Parents of children from our class came in the morning to read stories in their home language, and at the end of the week, we dressed up
as our favourite book characters. So we “met” Peter Rabbit, Coco Chanel, Sky, Cat, Dinosaur and Witch.

We had lots of fun at our Prague 5 campus celebrating the joy of reading during
Book Week. We designed our own book covers, reviewed our favourite books and explored the features of non-fiction books too. We enjoyed visits from parents and friends of Park Lane to read us stories in different languages, and also had a special Reading Breakfast with our parents. The Book Fair came for us to buy new books to take home, and at the end of the week we dressed up as our favourite book charac- ters which was so much fun.
