Sibeliova Carnival Party Friday 17. 02. 2023
The reception children at the Sibeliova campus went on a world adventure learn- ing all about the 7 continents. When we were learning about South America, we introduced the children to the Carni-
val in Brazil. We had our own Carnival party and invited the nursery children
to join us. The children had to wear their fancy party clothes. We made masks and crowns and decorated our campus in bright yellow, purple, and green balloons and streamers.
The children were engaged in so many lovely activities throughout the morning. All the children modeled to carnival music to show us their fancy clothes and masks. We had a fun dance party where all the children showed off their dance moves.
In the afternoon, there were two activ- ities for the children. The first activity was with Ms. Debbie, where the children played carnival bingo and there were love- ly pencils as prizes for the winners. The second activity with Miss Julie was collaborative spray painting with carnival colours to create a colorful painting.
It was a lovely day, and the children were happy before heading off on their half term holiday.
