the improvement of the College.
• Conduct of strategic and QMS/action planning
• Formulation of Program of Receipts and Expenditures (PRE)
• Stakeholders consultation meetings in preparation of budget proposals
F. The Institution’s approved criteria and procedures in the recruitment of the most qualified faculty
and staff.
The recruitment, selection and appointment processes include the following activities;
• Hiring of Faculty
1. Faculty need analysis;
2. Publication and announcement of vacant positions based on need;
3. Evaluation of applicant’s credentials/documents;
4. Conduct of demonstration-teaching and interview;
5. Administer psychological test, written examination and/or skills test;
6. Preparation of the Summary of Ranking and Evaluation;
7. Review and validation of the result evaluation;
8. Issuance of appointment and notice to report to work; and
9. Installation and orientation of the new appointees.
• Hiring/Promotion of Support Staff
1. Announce or publish vacant positions
2. Prepare roster of applicants
3. Evaluate applicants’ credentials
4. Conduct interviews
5. Administer psychological test/written examination skills test
6. Evaluate and rank the applicants
7. Review and validate result of evaluation
8. Preparation of appointments
9. Issue Notice to Report for work
• Promotion of Faculty
The University follows the guidelines set in NBC 461 in the promotion of faculty. Institutional promotion to
fill up vacant items are done following the Faculty Merit System.
G. The Dean strictly implements policies and procedures on internal operations of the College
• The Dean ensures that teaching loads/faculty workload are well distributed to the faculty
based on University policies and guidelines
• Implements and practice the established ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
