EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK
Version 2025.10.28
We recognize that employees may use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter),
YouTube, TikTok, personal blogs, forums, or other online communities during off-duty hours. However, even off-duty posts
can impact the Company’s reputation, confidentiality, and business relationships. For this reason, we ask that employees
observe the following guidelines, whether on or off duty:
General Guidelines:
• Do not use Company devices or internet access for personal social media activity during working time unless
you have prior approval.
• Social media use is subject to all Company policies, including but not limited to: Harassment Prevention, Equal
Employment Opportunity, Confidentiality, Ethics, and Personal Conduct.
• Do not post or share confidential, proprietary, or non-public Company information, including internal
discussions, processes, client information, or financial data.
• Avoid sharing personal details, photos, or videos of coworkers or customers without their prior written consent.
Respect in the Workplace and Online:
• While we support open communication, we encourage employees to resolve work-related concerns internally
by speaking with coworkers, supervisors, or HR.
• If you choose to post content related to the Company, coworkers, or your employment, avoid making
statements that are defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful.
• This policy is not intended to restrict lawful speech or activity protected under the National Labor Relations Act
(NLRA), such as discussions about wages, working conditions, or terms of employment.
Disclaimers and Representations:
• If you choose to reference the Company, its products, services, or any aspect of your job in a public forum:
o Clearly state that your views are your own, such as:
▪ “The views expressed are my own and do not reflect those of my employer.”
o Do not use the Company’s logo, trademarks, proprietary images, or likenesses without express written
permission.
• Avoid speaking on behalf of the Company unless you are specifically authorized to do so.
• Do not mention customers, vendors, or partners without approval from your supervisor or the Corporate Office.
Professional Boundaries:
• Supervisors and managers are encouraged to use discretion when interacting with subordinates on social
platforms. No employee is required to accept “friend” requests or social invitations from coworkers or
management, and refusal should never result in retaliation or adverse treatment.
• All reference or recommendation requests received via social networking platforms must be handled according
to the Company’s standard reference policy.
Media Inquiries and Investigations:
• If you are contacted by a member of the media regarding your online activity or Company-related matters, refer
the inquiry to your manager or the Marketing Department before responding.
• The Company may review publicly available social media content and reserves the right to investigate concerns
involving potential policy violations. While anonymity may be used online, activity that violates policy may still
be subject to review if brought to the Company’s attention through lawful means.
