BENEFITS

Having Medicaid means having more
options to choose how you want to

receive long-term care support.
IN HOME CARE

It's possible to receive care in the
privacy of your home. You can
choose the caregiver that provides
care and a loved one may even
qualify to provide that care and be
compensated by your Medicaid plan.

ASSISTED LIVING

Medicaid can help supplement the
cost of an assisted living community.
On average the Medicaid plans may
pay up to $1,700 per month toward the
care cost of an assisted living facility.

NURSING HOME

Nursing homes can cost up to $15,000
per month! With Medicaid the monthly
patient responsibility amount is reduced
to an amount that won't exceed your
monthly income. Additionally we may
even be able to have your monthly
payment reduced further, sometimes
eliminating the patient responsibility
amount all together.
