V 1.1 February 2024
If I zoom in to the hierarchy menu and open
all sections then you can see a detailed
breakdown of how this page was created.
I hope that, by now, you can look at every
item on this list and match it up with the
content that you see on the Group page.
The Query Loop contains the Post Template
and within that is the Title block and the
Post Content block and then there is the No
results block.
Once you have set up the template on a
page where you want to use a Post that
same style will be used whenever another
Post is added in the future.
It is possible to have two or more Post
templates on one page. If we stick with the
Walking group we could have a template
with descriptions and media of recent walks
but you could also have another Post
positioned at the top of the page to advise
about weather conditions for the next walk.
The category for this one could be Weather.
When setting up the template you would
check both Walking and Weather categories
to get the Post onto the page in the correct
position. Personally I think a paragraph
block would be easier for this particular
application but you have choices.
You can position Posts anywhere you like on
a page simply by dragging the main block to
where you want it as usual.
Let’s create some Posts now and look in more detail at the process.
