Veronica is particularly proud of her Home page; using the
Gutenslider was a new thing for her and getting the text
visible on each page took a bit of work. In addition the
Newsletter page took several tries before she was happy
with it, but Veronica is pleased with the look of it now.

Frances suggests that you look at how she has used the
cover block to create interesting backgrounds for Notices
on the Home page and the contact form on Contact page.
Also using cover block to create banner headings for
blogs on Bird Watching, Book Club and Natural History.

Ann had a pdf of the groups timetable on the old site and
when her newsletter editor was looking at the new one
she said it was a pity it wasn’t clickable. Ann then set to
and reproduced it in a clickable form. It is now available
to access via a button on the Groups page and gives a
quick way to open an individual group page instead of
scrolling down the list to find the one you want. Ann uses
it frequently when adding new events.

Wendy says that she likes the Details feature that she’s
used on the Garden Lovers Group. The Group Leaders
write about each meeting and it was overwhelming; now
readers select topics that might interest them. She now
has other groups requesting this feature.
The table feature is also proving popular so that all of the
books, for example, are listed for the year.
