Our training site shows six Notices with varying start and end dates. The ones
where the end date has passed remain on this list until deleted but no longer
show on the site page as the date has passed.
Add New Notice
When we select Add New Notice we are presented with a form which is self-
explanatory. Enter a title and the text of the Notice where indicated at the top of
the screen. Notice that you have the plus sign below so you can add more and
different types of block if you want to. If your Notice is about an exhibition at a
local gallery for instance, then you could include a link to the relevant page of the
gallery’s website in the URL Notice field. Towards the bottom of the form you
can set the start date for the Notice and the expiry date. Publish then Publish
again when prompted. Your Notice will then appear in your Latest Notices
section between the set dates.
Over on the right is a side menu for the Notice and for the block in use. You will
be familiar with the latter.
Note that later in this section there is guidance on creating a new Latest Notices
block.
