Pippi Should
Not Go to
Children’s Home
I do not think Pippi should go to a children’s home. I
believe that she should live on her own because she has a pet
monkey and horse. She bought her pets with her own money
and she will not be allowed to take her pets to the children's
home. If Pippi goes to the children’s home leaving the pets at
home, there will be no one to take care of them. Pippi can not
take them to the zoo also because they are her loving pets. The
monkey and the horse may die if Pippi is not there to take care
of them.
Another reason Pippi should not go to a children’s
home is because Tommy and Annika will be sad if their friend
Pippi goes away. They will not have anyone to play with and go
on all the adventures.
The last reason Pippi should not go to a children's
home is because Pippi herself would not like to go to a chil-
dren’s home. She has been living fine alone in her house and I
think she will be able to take care of herself.

(Policemen in Pippi Longstocking)
I am a policeman in a small town in Sweden. One day
all the ladies and gentlemen in our town decided to send the
nine years old Pippi Longstocking, who was living all alone, to
the children’s home. My other policeman friend and I were sent
to Pippi’s house to take her to the children’s home.
When my partner and I arrived at Pippi’s house, we saw
a little girl come out, who looked very weird. The little girl was
Pippi. She started to joke with us thinking it was funny. Sud-
denly she started to run away. We chased her but she climbed
up on the roof. We had to bring a ladder to get on top. When
we were just a few steps away from her she jumped down. My
heart was racing because I thought she might injure herself.
She made it without injury and to our surprise, she took away
the ladder. We begged her to put the ladder back and finally
we came down. Then we thought it was our chance and quick-
ly pounced on her but instead she lifted me and my friend by
our belts and put us on the sidewalk. Then she ran inside her
house and came back with two pepperkakor cookies for us. We
went back to the ladies and gentlemen and told them that Pippi
was not fit for a children’s home but we never told anyone what
happened to us at her house.
