Going to the Playground

We went to the playground
tap! tap! tap!
There was a cockroach,
Aargh!! Aargh!!
We went to the playground
Acrostic Poem We kicked the soccer ball,

Fall Kick! Kick!
Buzzz! Went the bee.
F- Fall is the season between summer and winter. I hit the pole, bang!
A- Autumn is the name and fruits begin to ripen. Shhhh! Someone is coming.
L- Leaves fall from trees when wind blows harder. Tweet! Screeches the whistle.
L- Light fades early and nights become longer. Time to go inside.

Elmer’s Journey to Wild Island

Elmer went from rock to rock.
As he went through the path,
He almost got caught between the block
but he dodged it with some math.

He travelled in a ship,
Where no one could see him.
He held on with a tight grip,
and when he finally reached the island, he wanted to swim.

Elmer reached Tangerina and said, “hurray!”
He found juicy tangerines of course,
and went along the way.
He heard a strange sound
and thought what could be its source.
