Smiling Summer
Once every year,
there is one smiling summer.
It’s such a perfect day,
where no one’s like, “Oh, bummer!”
Everyone is happy,
even good o’l Squiddy!
No one is lazy,
or even moody.
Sometimes I wonder,
“How is this day so perfect?
Is it the weather?
I love it, whatever!”
The only thing to do,
Is to go out and play.
Because that’s what you should do,
on a perfect day! Alliteration Poem
- Atulya N.S. Thapa Mom Meets My Monkey
Mom meets my monkey.
Monkey’s name is Messy Mister.
Mom mumbled at my Messy Mister,
“You clinking, clanking, clattering
collection of junk!”
Messy Mister was mad.
Mom was more mad.
She said in a monstrous manner,
“You muddy, messy, mad monkey!”
Messy Mister the monkey was now sad.
He spoke sadly,
“I’m seriously sorry.
I shall slather some soap.
I shall scrub my skin
and show up squeaky clean.
