                       for sustainable development and lifestyles in harmony with nature.

                       The major focus of our project will be tackling the existing green problems of our
                       school  as  long  as  promoting  sustainable  development  and  SDGs  in  our  school.

                       Although  the  school  has  adopted  different  schemes  in  promoting  and  encouraging

                       students to participate in sustainable development, a lack of environmental awareness
                       still  exists  in  our  school.  This  is  mainly  caused  by  insufficient  education  and  the

                       prevalence of consumerism throughout the whole school. In the following report, we

                       will suggest several feasible plans for the school to adopt. We hope that our plans can
                       help build a more sustainable school environment and raise student’s environmental

                       awareness.










                                  CHAPTER 3   CURRENT PROBLEMS OF CFSS





               3.1     Strengths


               3.1.1   School’s support for environmental protection
                       As one of the membership schools of UNESCO HKA, our school has been emphasising

                       and promoting environmental protection and has been one of the major focuses of our

                       school.  The  school’s  principal,  Mr.  Ho,  has  contributed  a  lot  to  different  kinds  of
                       sustainable  development-related  activities.  The  school  has  encouraged  students  to

                       participate  in  different  kinds  of  activities,  including  participating  in  different  co-
                       curricular activities and outdoor workshops and field trips. The school has also provided

                       several  awarded  scholarships  to  provide  incentives  for  students  to  participate  in
