I am Sarbjit Kaur a.k.a BB Bulbul, a free-style women wrestler from India.
While I was young, crime against women bothered me constantly.
Women have always been subjected to quite a terrifying ordeal in a
patriarchal society like ours. They are told that they are weak, feeble, and
meek beings and therefore destined to undergo such heineous
treatment. It disturbed me and thus, my journey to represent the strong,
powerful, secure and self-reliant women took shape. I began this journey
by starting training since March 2015 at CWE Academy, Jalandhar,
Punjab, India. My hardcore training went under the supervision of Mr.
Dalip Singh Rana a.k.a The Great Khali, and many other renowned
wrestlers like Sirish Bhiwani, Jesus Ricardo, Darrel Sharma, Rex,
MattXStatic, Ethan H.Diaz, Hornet, Nion Ninja, and Xavier Justice.
After immense training and physical hardships , I am proud to tell
you that I represent Indian women in pro-wrestling in category 6
feet, 110kg. My style of wrestling is power guy, striker with DDT
and “all suplex” is my favourite moves. Whenever I step down in
the ring Stinky face is the move my viewers wait for and I always
tend to be a finisher with the world strongest slam and power
splash. I have fought match and defeated various wrestlers such
as Hard KD (WWE) and various male wrestlers such as Awesh,
Jeetu, Prince, Monu, Kamesh, Denu, Rahul, Parul, and female
wrestlers such as Sunny, Rita Wrestlers, Divya, etc. I have
competed in various CWE Mega shows against wrestlers
and have successfully defeated famous TNA International
wrestlers like Renne Michelle, Chelesea Green, Rebel,
Jammie Jamson and Kattie Forbes. I have made my
country proud by winning the first ever female battle
royal of CWE Udaipur Mega show at encounter 18. I
have glorified my motto of “women empowerment” by
becoming the first ever CWE Divas Champion in
History of Indian Wrestling. Further, to work for
women safety and to promote Gender Equality , I
didn’t bind myself to a single platform and went
ahead to spread this motive of mine by auditioning
for Bigg Boss 11 in 2016. I have also been invited as
guest in Kapil Sharma Show in 2015 and Comedy
Nights Bachao in 2016 and I successfully used both
the platforms to break conventional image of women in
society who are considered a weaker sections. I
humbly thank Monica Seth who is an efficient,
dynamic, honest, unbeatable, outstanding proprietor
of MS Events. She approached me in 2019 with an
ambition to begin 2020 with “Self Defense Drive” which
focus on women safety measures by making them strong
not just by providing them physical training but also by helping
them to be mentally strong so that they can combat any harmful
being who try shame commenting, eve teasing, and outrage a
women’s modesty. She gave me a brilliant opportunity to work for
women by making me part of this drive led by her which focus to
train women all over India and raise self-awareness in them. Thus
she is working for social well-being and I heartly congratulate her for
her contribution in society.
