Section B - Non-Contractual Matters
2. General standards, Information and Procedures
Rest Days
The entitlement of rest days is specific to your employment contract/offer
letter. When travelling/working away on business, if an employee works a full
day on a Saturday or Sunday, that employee is eligible to earn one rest day per
one weekend day worked and to be used for the purpose of ‘rest’ immediately
following your entitlement. Rest days cannot be accumulated or added to
annual leave.
For employees at Director level and above, ‘rest days’ are at the discretion of
the COO which will only be granted for whole days working away and further,
will only apply to client related/driven activities.
Any deviation from this policy will need to be authorised by the COO.
Summer Hours
For a period of up to nine weeks in the months of July and August, subject to
the approval of the COO and business needs, the Company operates a policy
of “Summer Hours”, and the offices will close on ‘Fridays’ at 1200. This will not
affect your basic salary.
Employee Training
At the commencement of your employment you will receive relevant training
for your specific job where applicable, and as your employment progresses your
skills may be extended to encompass new job activities within the business.
Performance and Review
Our policy is to monitor your work performance on a continual basis so that
we can maximise your strengths, and help you overcome any
possible weaknesses.
Staff Appraisal Scheme
We have a staff appraisal scheme in place for the purpose of
monitoring staff performance levels with a view to maximising
the effectiveness of individuals; details are available from your
Line Manager.
Familiarisation Trips
Details of familiarisation trips will be posted on the staff notice
board or by email and if you would like to participate in these
trips which are offered by Company suppliers you will do so at
