Beef Rendang
with curried Jasmine rice
Make the jasmine rice
Preparation time approx. 10-15 minutes
Ingredients required: Equipment required:
• 240g jasmine rice • Saucepan
• 480ml chicken stock
• 1 tsp curry powder
Pantry Ingredients required:
• Salt and pepper
1. Add the jasmine rice to a pan and cover with the chicken stock, add a little
salt and pepper and the curry powder and bring to the boil, then cover
and simmer until the rice is cooked and almost all the stock has
evaporated. This should take about 10-12 minutes.
2. When the rice is just cooked remove from the pan and place into a bowl
or container until serving later.
