    Card Design Team Finalizes New Card Design

                                                                                  A Business Requirements Document
                                                                                  (BRD) will be developed to explain
                                                                                  how the new Card Production System
                                                                                  will work. The BRD outlines “what”
                                                                                  Gemalto must deliver to DDS for the
                                                                                  project to meet our business needs. It
                                                                                  does not define “how” Gemalto will
                                                                                  make it happen. For example: You’re
                                                                                  building your dream home. The
                                                                                  Construction Contract (BRD) will list
                                                                                  the “what”: tall ceilings, 7 ½’
                                                                                  doorways, raised counters, etc. The
                                                                                  Blue Prints illustrate the “how”.
