DDS Commissioner Spencer R. Moore and members of the
DDS Team recently presented a check to Kathia Brown, Liai-
son, with the Homeless Children and Youth Division at Rock-
dale County Public Schools.
DDS’ Division Directors contributed to this worthy cause that
supports children and youth in transition in Rockdale County
– home of DDS headquarters and one Customer Service
Center.
It's a Scam!
We've learned of a new text message-based scam that is attempting
to steal driver’s license information. Customers have been getting text
messages asking them to follow a fraudulent link to verify their driver’s
license information due to a temporary suspension. Commissioner
Moore says such text messages are a fraud and likely an attempt by
scammers to get your personal information.
DDS quickly disributed a press release and posted messages on the
DDS website and all social media pages to warn customers.
