GOHS Conference
On Wednesday, April 20th, GOHS and AAA-The Auto Club Group held a conference in Macon, GA. Several agencies
were in attendance, along with DDS.
The GOHS and AAA Summit Conference, titled: Enough: Putting the Brakes on Traffic Deaths in Georgia, is an
event dedicated to finding innovative ways to create Safe Systems while driving for all drivers, new or seasoned.
There were group sessions that included critical thinking for improving methods that would implement safe driv-
ing habits. Did you know that there are 32 conflict points at an intersection and only 8 at a roundabout?
This was a great opportunity to interact with other agencies for such an important topic. There were a variety of
admirable speakers that provided detailed knowledge on ways to promote good driving behaviors. What are ways
that you can promote good driving behaviors?
