New To The Crew

In keeping with the agency decision to use DDS Team Members when possible as our models
for posters, flyers, brochures, manuals, videos, etc. versus stock photos, we have now included
additional family members – DDS Teens! Since working with and photographing teens is a new
adventure for DDS, the Communications Team started with a group of 4 teens at a recent on-
location photo shoot to test the waters. We were very excited to find out how quickly the teens felt
comfortable being in front of a camera and posing for a variety of photos. The weather cooperated
with us on the day of the Photo Shoot and we were able to take indoor and outdoor photos of the
teens.
Our teen models included: Maddie Odom (daughter of Mistie Odom of the Regulatory Compliance
Division), Jemiah Fields (daughter of Shevondah Leslie, Director of Governmental Affairs &
Communications Division), Ross Thompson (neighbor of Ross Potts of the Program Management
Office), and Derrious Hawk (son of Nikita Hawk of the Human Resources Division). In this Photo
Shoot, we also used Brian Cox (Regulatory Compliance Division) and a vehicle owned by Patrice
Sutton (Field Operations, Central Issuance).
We plan to use some of the teen photos in upcoming Manuals and promotions for Safe Teen
Driving, DDS 2 GO, Hands Free Driving, and other teen appropriate applications.
