Tamu’s story is a sad one. It is also unique.
Tamu was one of the survivors who were
rescued at sea.
Three years ago, when she was about
Maisha’s age, Tamu refused to marry.
Unfolding a neatly folded paper, Amani
said,
“This is a copy of Tamu’s letter that Maisha
read to us.”
“Let me now read you the letter,” Amani
said as he cleared his throat.
