Fun stuff- potpourri
The art of adding dried flowers, leaves, bark or seeds and
using them to fragrance your home seems old fashioned,
however, making potpourri is easy, the supplies are in
your garden, and it’s a way to limit the chemicals you use in
your home.
Potpourri is not only fragrant, but it usually looks like a lovely medley of colours and
textures, so choose the best flowers - those that are fragrant like roses, and those that
retain their colour and shape when you dry them, like calendula, scented geranium,
lavender, dianthus, and chrysanthemum.
You can either add all the ingredients fresh and wait a while, or dry them individually
