P. 8
One of my favorite chapters that I
learned from Psalms is chapter 51
because there are many things I can
take away from it. One lesson that I
learned from this chapter is that if you
truly believe in God and is after God,
then you will repent. In the first couple
of verses you can see David repenting
right away because he realized that he
has sinned against God. Another lesson
that I learned is that God’s love and
righteousness will stand forever. In
verse 7, it said, “Purge me with hyssop,
and I shall be clean; wash me, and I
shall be whiter than snow.” (Psalm
51:7) This shows that David knew that
God was merciful and righteous, and
he knew that God would be willing to
welcome anyone with open arms.
