As a reminder, the reason for these changes are as follows:

1. To provide greater flexibility in terms of secretarial/OA cover to both clients and lawyers

2. To create clearer career paths and development opportunities for our people

3. To enable a more consistent level of service

4. To establish a more sustainable operating model

5. To identify further opportunities for innovation

Maintaining service levels

In order to support our Legal Services teams, we ask that all lawyers adhere to the

following:

1. Ensure all dictations are clear and provide explicit instructions so they can

be picked up by any secretary with some practice area knowledge

2. Use BigHand to capture all tasks so that work can be allocated appropriately

3. Use Dictate for notes and emails wherever possible

• October – Black History Month

• 10 October – World Mental Health Day

• 6 November – ISO file reviews

• Christmas closure – the Firm will

close at 5pm on Wednesday 23rd

December 2020 and re-open on the

morning of Monday 4 January 2021
