Our way

IT – the year so far

To call this a challenging year for the IT team

would be an understatement.

Like most of you will have found, working in lockdown after being predominantly office-

based brings about challenges of its own. Trying to support our people when they are using

different combinations of computers, monitors, internet service providers and other curveballs

(someone struggled with using a Bluetooth soundbar with BigHand!) has been interesting.

Despite this, the team have continued to deliver. Some of our projects were planned prior

to lockdown and some of them have been in direct response to it, to enable you to work

more effectively than you might have following our dispersal from the office, including:

Zoom Office 365

Lots of work initially went into getting Zoom The team delivered the ‘office suite’ part of Office
