Standards & Ethics
Working from home doesn’t mean a relaxation of the rules
around risk and compliance.
• Current circumstances have created a paradise for
criminals so please ensure that your AML due diligence
is thorough and remember those red flags.
• Be aware of your surroundings and the need to
maintain client confidentiality, especially during
telephone calls or video conferencing.
• Keep data safe – only remove from the office what
you absolutely need to and then look after it.
• Supervision must be regular and meaningful and
your file review calendars must be up to date.
A date for the diary – we are having a further visit from ISO on
6 November when they will be undertaking random file reviews.
If you have any queries around records, please direct
them to Bev Scriven while any matter opening queries,
please direct to Jenine in the first instance.
