48 The Unforgettable Moments in Life

Christmas Day

The celebration of Christmas takes

place at my house, and we would do

many things during this time with a lot

of families over. We have a lot of fun,

and we stay up all night. We play a lot

of games at this time of year. We might

travel a lot at this time too, but when we are halfway through Christmas, we just really chill and

relax.

Halfway through Christmas, we start getting ready for New Year's. We do this because we

always want to be ready for the New Year’s countdown. Once it hits New Year, we stay up a

little later listening to music playing and watching fireworks. We countdown the clock when it is

almost midnight. As we countdown, there is yelling everywhere and I can see everyone

celebrating. We usually stay up for the rest of the night and go to sleep the next morning. We

celebrate a little more the next day until we wrap everything up for the year, but that whole day

we would talk about what we are thankful for and prepare for the new year. We get ready for the

new year by setting new goals and playing games for the rest of the day.

Once we are done celebrating, we clean up and put things back in the same place they

were before the party. We clean up and just relax. We finally get ready to go back to school and

jobs. Sometimes we have mini parties and that is really it before we all go back to school and

work for the year.
