Cleansing Cream
• They are intended to remove make-up, soils and skin debris without excessive
skin degreasing.
• Water removes water-soluble or dispersible soil quite efficiently, but the
addition of a detergent is necessary for the removal of oil-soluble and
dispersible materials.
o Oily substances of the cream may also remove these materials.
• All experiments suggest that the effectiveness of cleansing creams depend
upon the solvent effect of the oil phase, simply because make-up powders and
soils are oil dispersible materials.
• The skin cleansing products may be :
