Method of preparation:
1. In a stainless steel dish →melt beeswax, paraffin wax and cetyl alcohol in a
large dish over a boiling water bath, add mineral oil and heat to 75–80 °C.
2. Dissolve borax in water and heat to 75–80 °C.
3. Add gradually (2) to (1) with vigorous trituration while on the bath, a white
emulsion is produced.
4. Remove from the bath and continue trituration until a homogenous cream is
obtained.
