6.   The execution of the drug testing shall be every semester effective upon the approval of
             the Board of Regents. The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) together with the
             Office of the University.
        7.   Health Services shall prepare and submit annual reports to the CHED Regional Office
             through the Office of the Executive Officer on the implementation of the program.
        8.   Any faculty, administration, or           employee of         the University who          violates the
             rules of

             confidentiality of the results of the drug tests shall, in addition to the sanctions as may be
             provided by the school policy, be liable under Section 72 or R.A. No. 9165 and other
             appropriate laws.
        9.   The refusal of the student to undergo mandatory random drug testing shall be subject to
             the relevant sanctions as provided in the Student Manual of the Isabela State University,
             provided     that in no case shall such refusal to undergo drug testing gives rise to a
             presumption of drug use or dependency.
        10. The Policies Guidelines and Procedures for Isabela State University Mandatory Random
             Drug Testing of Students are adhered to under Board Regulation No. 3 Series of 2009 of the

             Dangerous Drug Board.

                     REPUBLIC ACT 9165: COMPREHENSIVE DANGEROUS DRUGS ACT OF 2002


        Section1. Students shall observe the general guidelines of CHED Memorandum Order No. 64
        series of 2017 entitled, “Policies, Guidelines and Procedures for Higher Education Institutions
        (HEIs) Requiring Drug Testing to Students.”
        Section 2. The Director of Health Services shall facilitate the implementation of the said
        CMO in
        accordanceto R.A. 9165.
