Letter Writing
Letter writing can be fun, help children learn to compose written text, and
provide handwriting practice — and letters are valuable keepsakes.

Your Excellency,
I am writing this to inform you about the situation in Sudan. Sudan is facing a
devastating water crisis. The people there require help. That’s why we created
this campaign, we are getting only a few donations from the people. It would
really help if you could promote the campaign. We don’t wanna give up just yet.
I wanted to create this campaign when I went to Sudan to explore the situation and their way of life. Going
there made me pity the people of this country. People were drinking muddy water and some people didn’t
get water at all. Our goal is to collect $5 million and make water supplies in many parts of Sudan.
If you ever decide to help us, please contact 9824553 or go to our website and message, or email us. Thank
you for your understanding.
Yours sincerely,
Shaurya (Shaurya Shrestha)

Dear Jack,
It’s my pleasure to write this letter to you. I hope you are doing well. I hope your middle school is going in a
progressive way. It was a great pleasure to read about your vacation to Texas during winter break.
I went to Bangkok, Thailand during my vacation. I went there on 27 December 2022 with my parents for
a week. The weather was pretty awesome and I was really excited about it. We went to beautiful temples
named Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Grand palace on our first day. The next day we went to Safari World
where we saw many birds and animals. I really enjoyed seeing animals like lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes,
monkeys etc. We also got to watch the dolphin show and orangutan show. I also got to feed milk to the tiger’s
cub. At night we ate crocodile skewers, which was pretty new for me. It was very memorable for me.
The next day we went to sea life Bangkok, where we saw many sea creatures. It was located in the basement
of a big shopping mall named Siam Paragon, which I found really creative. The 4th day we went shopping
in Icon Siam, and ended our day on a beautiful cruise dinner in Chao Phraya Princess Cruise. We enjoyed
amazing seafood and even saw New Year’s Eve fireworks, which was really amazing. The next day we went to
the world’s biggest market named Chatuchak Weekend market where we bought souvenirs for my relatives.
On our last day we went to Central World, one of the world’s biggest shopping malls and later tried street
food in the famous Chinatown, which was amazing.
I got to experience new cultures, traditions and values of Thailand. It was a very memorable trip for me and
my parents. I hoped that you were there as well. Thank you for reading my letter and I hope to hear from
you soon.
Yours truly,
Pratyush Joshi
