I grew up in a semi-arid part of India in the early 2000’s where
access to safe drinking water was a luxury to a significant part of
the population. When I pursued a bachelor’s degree in chemical
engineering, I got interested in the RO treatment of brackish
water. Not only was the technical part interesting, but also the
impact the work created instilled a great sense of satisfaction
within me. It was this combination of mental stimulation and
satisfaction that made me chose this field.
I like to play cricket and ping pong, and as a student, I was a part
of my school’s cricket team. I am proud to say that in 2022, I led
winning teams at the WEFTEC Student Design Competition and
the WEAT Student Design Competition. I also received the 2022
            Bryant L. Bench Scholarship.
I am actively involved with AWWA, WEF, and WEAT.

Process systems is something that I always liked doing.
Working in the field gives me more direct interaction
with projects and I can see the different stages of the
                                                      construction and what is involved.
My hobbies include cars and helping others.
