During my formative years, I observed in my home city - Bengaluru,
India, struggle with a plethora of environmental and infrastructure
issues. This prompted me to pursue a career in environmental
engineering, with a particular focus on the redevelopment of water
and wastewater treatment processes, as well as water reuse. Through
this, I honed my skills in design, technology, and management,
enabling me to effectively address the underlying problems of water
quality, environmental degradation, climate change, and urban
planning

During my graduate years at Georgia Tech, I served as a Graduate
Research Assistant under Prof. Shannon Yee on an exciting global
collaborative effort namely, G2RT - Generation 2 Reinvented Toilet
supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. A toilet that brings
a sanitation solution that requires no input water, transforms human
waste into a safe & useable byproduct, and does not require a sewer
or septic connection. In the effort to reinvent the mechanism of a toilet
and spread across the globe, the Team & I recently demonstrated
our toilet prototype on a world-stage platform at The World Bank,
Washington DC during their World Water Week 2023. The reinvented
1.2v & 1.3v prototype is currently being tested in parts of India, South
Africa, China and Europe and seeking manufacturing investors’
support at the moment.

I’ve been a yoga practitioner since 2018. I love cooking on a daily
basis as I’ve grown up with my grandmother who’s taught me a lot.
Apart from these - I love all genres of music, hiking, and travelling.
