The assessment identifies conditions across 6,000 m of roads, aprons, and loading zones that
may benefit from rehabilitation intervention. This report presents our observations and
proposed remedial approach for consideration within your 2026 CAPEX planning processes.
Assessment Focus:
Heavily trafficked surfaces around core buildings and growing facilities, with particular
attention to areas supporting daily operations involving tractors, forklifts, and delivery vehicles.
Proposed Investment for Consideration:
R798,387.50 (including VAT) for priority rehabilitation works addressing the most critical
surface conditions.

4.2 Assessment Methodology
• Field Survey Technique: Aerial photographic survey combined with ground-level visual
inspection
• Documentation: Comprehensive photographic evidence ( see Appendices)
• Historical Context: Observation of surface conditions since facility establishment (2014)
• Standards Reference: SANS 1200 (Civil Engineering Construction), Modified AASHTO
compaction standards
• Equipment Used: GNSS RTK survey equipment for dimensional verification
