Traffic bUREAU
During 2019, Elk Grove PD received $150,000 in
grant funding from the Office of Traffic Safety. These funds
were used to implement Selective Traffic Enforcement
Programs in an effort to prevent traffic-related injuries and
deaths. With the funding received we conducted 6 DUI
checkpoints, 67 DUI saturation patrols, 62 distracted driver
operations, 96 traffic enforcement patrols, 4 motorcycle
operations patrols, and 59 bike/pedestrian patrols.
