Dear Shareholders,

It gives me immense pleasure to extend to you all a heartfelt warm welcome to the Thirtieth Annual
General Meeting of your Corporation. I take this opportunity to highlight the performance of the
Corporation as well as major works completed during the year.

1.0 FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

1.1 The performance of your Corporation for the year 2019-20 has been covered in detail in the
Directors' Report. I would like to inform you that the total revenue for the nancial year 2019-
20 was ` 2735 crore as compared to ` 2899 crore of 2018-19. The Corporation had a net prot
of ` 6 crore during the year under review as compared to the prot of ` 99.73 crore (gure
restated) in the nancial year 2018-19., Corporation suffered a revenue loss of ` 70 crore due
to Covid-19 pandemic lockdown and incurred expenses of ` 0.22 crore during lockdown
period toward preventive health measures till 31/03/2020. Further, the pandemic has very
adversely impacted the revenue in the Current nancial year.

1.2 The net worth of the Corporation as on 31st March, 2020 stands at ` 1892 Crore (Rupees one
thousand eight hundred ninety two crore).

1.3 During the year 2019-20, the Corporation redeemed Bonds worth ` 120 Crore (Rupees one
hundred twenty crore) and issued fresh Bonds worth ` 120 Crore (Rupees one hundred
twenty crore) on Private Placement basis, for meeting redemption liability.
