To develop coordination and control through moving the body in several different ways including bending, wiggling, crouching and tapping knees, to develop finger dexterity through pointing and to practise locomotor skills including jumping and running

To engage in the body tension activities of stretching and curling

To encourage children to be active and therefore improve fitness through performing a high energy dance with lots of running
