1. The children sing the song and play their percussion instruments in time with the pulse, pausing where indicated.
2. Sing the song as usual but with one of the alternate endings. Then repeat the song, singing and playing as indicated by the alternate ending you selected. Repeat the process until you have sung and played softly, loudly, quickly and slowly. The last time you sing the song use the ending ‘I think that's enough!’.

What's in my bag?
In my sparkly magic bag? Listen now, carefully. What's in my bag?
1. Have several different percussion instruments hidden inside your sparkly magic bag. Sing the song for the babies then play one of the instruments inside the bag. Reveal the instrument, name it, play it again then hand it to a baby. Repeat with several different instruments. If you have time, perform 'We're Gonna Play' or 'The Shakers in the Band' when you have finished this activity. Otherwise say “bye, bye” to the instruments and name each one again as you put them back into the sparkly bag.
