Choose three volunteers to tell you their favourite type of transport that moves on the ground (you may need to remind the children of some options). Tell the children that they are all going to drive/ride their favourite type of transport that moves on the ground on an adventure down the highway. Explain that when the music stops it means there’s a red light and everyone must freeze and when the music starts it means there’s a green light and everyone must drive/ride (as in musical statues). Play the music and pause occasionally to indicate a red light. Make sure to name and congratulate the children who remember to freeze when the music stops.
