1. Reveal the farm masks from your sparkly magic bag one at a time. Name each animal and show the babies what sound they make.
2. As you play the song on your melodic instrument, have the masks upside down and in front of you. Following, ‘And on that farm he had a,’ hold up a mask and let the adults (or older children) shout out the name of the animal. If they do not answer you can tell them what it's called. Hand the mask to one of the babies to hold and continue the song. Repeat until there are no farm animals left. You can also use farm animal finger puppets if you have any.
1. Reveal the masks from your sparkly magic bag one at a time. Ask the children to name each animal and tell you what sound each makes. You make the sound of each animal with them.
2. As you play the song on your melodic instrument, have the masks upside down and in front of you. Following, ‘And on that farm he had a,’ hold up a mask and let the children shout out the name of the animal. Hand the mask to one of the children to hold (perhaps a child who named the animal or who is joining in well with the singing) and continue the song. Repeat until there are no farm animals left. You can also use farm animal finger puppets if you have any.
