irbus has selected twenty-two
Anew start-ups to join its BizLab for
the launch of the fifth accelerator pro-
gramme, providing a pla�orm to develop
previously untapped technologies and
ways of working in the aerospace sector.
During the six-month acceleration pro-
gramme, the start-ups will receive support
from an international team of experts from
various fields and have access to dedicated
coaching staff, networking opportunities
and co-working spaces.
Hailing from nine countries around the world,
the twenty-two new start-ups were selected
out of 704 applications from 59 countries.

AIRBUS TEST FACILITY

Dirk Hoke officially opened the e-Aircraft systems
house test facility at Airbus’s Tau�irchen/Otto-
brunn site alongside Ilse Aigner president of the
Bavarian state parliament.
The test centre will provide a space to research
technologies for alternative propulsion systems
and energy sources - such as electric motors for un-
manned aerial vehicles, hybrid propulsion systems
and hydrogen for combustion or synthetic fuel use.
The building, which allows complete systems to
be integrated and tested, is the first test centre of Airbus Chief Technology Officer Grazia Vittadini and
