In middle 1969, Nguyen went back to 12th. Training center Air
Force in Nha-Trang city to study English for his communication and
Vietnamization plan.

Nha-Trang city had changed after Viet-Cong's general Tet Attack,
all city's office had barbed wire fences, soldiers of Region Force were
guarding around the building, and readily prepared to fight any time.
The military bases were close control for their area, and 50% of
their troops confined to barracks. Most of the Nha-Trang civilians
were laborious to keep their families safe with the hardship living,
they felt tired and fear of war.
Richer became powerful and more rich, poorer were going down
to the bottom of life and more hardship living than they were before.
The people were less coming to sit on the sandbank, or on the
chair of the bars to watch the sea of sunrise or sunset. Therefore the
curve Duy-Tan street along to the beach from Stone-Bridge to Mail
Office was not heavy traffic and became a sad place.

Nguyen thought of five years ago. When he was a student at
12th Air Force base training center in Nha-Trang, it was a city of
sunlight, ocean windy, sand, and waves. The white crested waves of
the ocean have been continuing to hustle one another towards the
bank. When the waves were nearby the beach, they became a large
