Nepal is said to be a world inside of a country, with the wonder,
vibrancy, and diversity it holds. The people within it are of
different race, religion, ethnicity, and belief systems, however, the
majority of the people of Nepal follow the religion of Hinduism.
Hinduism has numerous belief systems, ways of action, and
repetitious traditions that have formed to make a culture. Like any
other religion, Hinduism also has numerous festivities, celebrated
by many, for any certain cause. Today, I shall tell you about my
favorite Hindu Festival.
Tihar is a Hindu festival that I love, and have considered my
favorite since I was young. To begin with, It is a 5-6 day festival,
where we celebrate, and show appreciation for certain animals
like the crow, dog and cow, the Hindu goddess Laxmi, our siblings,
and ourselves. I love this festival because of the wide range of
gratitude, celebration, and value it extends. On the first day for
the crow, we put in grains, fruits or
