The Pharmacy First course focuses on these key topics:

The course includes self-checks, all of which must be completed
with an 80% pass mark before you can obtain a certificate.
Why take part?
This is a great way to upskill your team, especially as the Pharmacy First scheme
officially launched on January 31 2024. The scheme itself it a brilliant incentive
st
to bring walk-ins to your pharmacy, as it allows them to get treatment for minor
ailments instead of waiting on a GP.
There is also financial compensation, a service fee of £15 per consultation can be
claimed, with medicine supplied as part of this service being reimbursable as set
out in the Drug Tariff, with maximum claimable consultations of 3,000 each month.
