Professional Standard Audit:

              GPhC inspections

We know how stressful GPhC inspections can be. This is
why we want to support you in getting all the right boxes
checked. Our upcoming solution will allow you to go through
a test audit with one of our well trained professionals. It’s a
great way to ensure your pharmacy is at the right standard,
and will take the worry off any upcoming audit, especially as
you no longer get six weeks to prepare before an inspection.
As of 2019, inspection reports made by the GPhC are published, so now
it’s more important than ever to ensure your pharmacy is up to grade.

              What is PSA?

The Professional Standards Audit is designed to help you prepare
and ensure you have high standards prior to any inspections.
Our team will arrange a visit with the pharmacy to offer a
structured review with a set criteria of questions that looks at
the various standards and principles that a GPhC inspection
would require. This review will show your pharmacy if you have
the green light on your pharmacy standards to meet the relevant
GPhC inspection requirements, and if there are areas which need
improvement, our team will guide you through the steps to take.

              Full day visit
Our team will do a deep inspection on your pharmacy from when
it first opens. During this time we will run through all applicable
GPhC questions with the pharmacy team, provide guidance as a
follow up to achieve the standards required ready for the GPhC
inspection, and point you to the right Numark resources. This will
also coincide with training, support, and coaching where applicable.
We want to make what's going wrong easy to understand. Which
is why we will be using a traffic light system. Green means your
pharmacy is ready, Amber will highlight some minor changes,
and Red will show the substantial changes needed to pass an
inspection (which we will support with by showing the correct
              procedure or policy to introduce).

                 Watch this space

We are still finalising our structure for this proposition, as
each visit will be a bespoke service, customised and tailored
to suit your pharmacies’ needs. Please keep an eye on our
social media, or on the NumarkNet website as we announce
more details, including how you can sign up to take part.
