                        to  connect  with  others.  These  types  of  recounts  can  build

                        friendships  and create a sense of shared experience. So  next

                        time  you  have  a  story  to  tell,  remember,  that  you  might  be

                        creating a recount text with a powerful social function.

                              Recount  texts,  those  captivating  narratives  that  share

                      personal experiences or factual events, follow a specific structure

                      to  ensure  clarity  and  engagement.  This  structure  acts  as  a

                      roadmap,  guiding  readers  through  the  unfolding  story.  Let's
                      delve    into    the   three    key    components      that   make

                      up a recount text:

                          a.  Orientation, the first structure that contains information

                              about characters, places, when the events take place and

                              so  on.  The  information  provided  by  the  author  is
                              expected to provide knowledge or information needed by

                              the reader in order to understand the storyline.

                          b.  Events, the second structure is the content of the text or in

                              the form of a story about events and experiences that the

                              author wants to convey to the reader.
