3M™ Heat Shrink Mine & Portable Cable Splicing Kits HSK

The 3M™ Heat Shrink Cable Splicing and Repair Products are engineered for long-term reliable performance. They combine easy handling and installation
with maximum operating reliability and system protection. With the application of moderate heat, the heat shrinkable tubes and wraparound sleeves mold
to fit over even irregularly shaped objects.
Use 3M Splice Kits HSK to splice mine and portable cable rated 600-2000 volts. Choose from three kits (HSK-2, HSK-4, HSK-6) for use with flat and round Mining Splice Kits
types W, G and G-GC cables.

All 3M Heat Shrink Mine and Portable Cable Splicing Kit Products are accepted by The Mine Safety and Health Administration, acceptance number P-154-
13 MSHA.
Each kit contains:
• High-performance cross-linked, flame-retardant polyolefin tubes
• Scotch® Glass Cloth Tape 27 and Scotch Rubber Mastic Tape 2228
An internal adhesive sealant provides environmental protection.
