I created this piece at a time when I was in anguish. Have you been there? That space which occurs now
and again where tears swell from censored emotions? With messy timing? For no sane reason? Ok, well,
that was then . . . It's interesting how the wool, when wet felted, had a mind of its own. The way it moved
into twisted, winding, somewhat frantic directions gave a spirit to the piece that defies design, yet
expressed the emotion beautifully. I don’t question these moments!
