                Josie Smith has been a teacher, a freelance radio and TV broadcaster, a Methodist
                preacher, and worked for 13 years on the staff of the Methodist headquarters. She is
                now actively retired in Sheffield.


                Andrew Softley completed university in 2003 and is currently working as a town planner.
                He says of writing his contribution to this book: ‘My memories of the day were of enjoy-
                ment and also accomplishment as we worked together as a community to give the
                Easter story a modern twist … I’m grateful I was able to partake in it.’

                Liz Varley is a parish priest in North Yorkshire and an associate member of the Iona
                Community.

                Emily Walker is a musician living in London. She worked for the Iona Community in
                2003–04, as the musician of Iona Abbey.

                Brian Woodcock is a United Reformed Church minister in St Albans. He is a member of
                the Iona Community and was warden of Iona Abbey from 1998 to 2001.
