Teen Advisory Committee:

The Teen Advisory Committee promotes the development of the North Texas Chapter Teens
through the promotion of the organization’s Youth Leadership Program and programmatic
thrusts which include: Education, Cultural, Civic, Social/Recreational, and Health. The Teen
Advisory Committee will also ensure the leadership development modules and community
services are incorporate into activities and serve as a resource for the coordination of all teen
committees and preparation for the annual Teen Conference.

2020-2021 Committee Goals:
• Attend Teen Executive Board meetings and provide guidance on agenda
• Be present at Teen Business meetings to answer questions as needed
• Be available at Teen Committee meetings (to be held during Teen Business Meetings) to
provide direction and guidance, to include National and Regional programming for teens
• Coordinate, support and communicate Teen Conference activities; liaise with financial
team to ensure communication of assessments.

Protocol Committee:
The Protocol committed is tasked with following procedures, which prescribe order and good
manner in official Jack and Jill activities, rituals and ceremonies. Protocol is important
pertaining to business meetings, conferences, ceremonies, fundraisers, gifts and courtesies,
invitations, seating, attire and room set up.

2020- 2021 Committee Goals:
• Provide protocol guidance and support on the chapter level, ensuring flawless execution
of the chapter ceremonies in accordance with the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Member
Manual
• Manage, arrange, and secure Leadership Assistants for special guest(s) during chapter
events
• Ensure chapter members are well educated and adhere to Jack and Jill Protocol and
expected/established behaviors.
