2020 – 2021 Committee Goals:

• Complete revision of Chapter Bylaws; obtain Bylaws from 5-Star Chapters to establish
best-practices
• Deploy Task Force sub-committee to do initial assessment and updates
• Partner with National and Regional representatives to understand Bylaw best practices
• Communicate Roberts Rules of Order practices with membership
• Incorporate all approved National bylaw revisions, where applicable
• Present proposed Chapter Bylaws changes for review and discussion
• Serve as tellers, along with the Sergeant-At-Arms
• Work to minimize hand voting by preparing paper ballots for all voting actions
(Sergeant-At-Arms)

Foundation/Fundraising Committee:
The Foundation/Fundraising Committee is responsible for formulating proposals for the regional
and/or national grant programs consistent with the requirements of the National Foundation, then
executing foundation grants awarded including monitoring, tracking and reporting financial
disbursements made as set forth in the budget. In addition, the fundraising committee executes
the annual fundraising event to meet chapter obligation to financially support Jack and Jill of
America Foundation, Inc. Fundraising activities must adhere to National guidelines and may
include contributions to local charities. Annual fundraising assessment must be voted on and
approved by the Membership body.

2020 – 2021 Committee Goals:
• Support the Jack and Jill National Programming initiatives.
• Deliver philanthropic giving by encouraging children to donate their loose change.
• Continue to support the Jack and Jill Foundation and the Children Defense Fund Dallas
Freedom School.

2020 – 2021 Vision:
As a mother’s organization that is focused on strengthening children and nurturing future leaders,
my vision is to inspire every chapter member to contribute willing to the humanitarian
organizations and foundations of Jack and Jill.
